RES Expectations

A successful candidate will exhibit characteristics that support the following:

  • Assists with construction materials and works with other personnel working at the construction site.

  • Responsible for ensuring all assigned construction work is completed safely, on time and within budget. This includes performing preventative/predictive maintenance, reactive maintenance, major and minor repairs on equipment, reporting spills and leaks.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in construction of equipment and facilities per directions given by roustabout foreman

  • Performs preventative/predictive maintenance, reactive maintenance, major and minor repairs on equipment, reporting spills and leaks

  • Performs general housekeeping

  • Experience in the following:  Production packs, 2 & 3 phase separators, reboilers, dehydration units, dump valves, air compressors, turbine meters, pumps, tanks, flowlines, and various other production equipment

  • Working knowledge of oil & gas construction work, repair, policies, and safe work practices

  • Capable of basic troubleshooting of production equipment; also capable of repairing some equipment, such as tools and equipment needed to complete job tasks

  • Duties and responsibilities may be added or changed at any time at the discretion of your supervisor, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of O&G Maintenance experience required

  • High School Grad or GED equivalent

  • Possess a working knowledge of oil & gas construction and maintenance

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision

  • Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required

  • Must maintain clear driving record, maintain company vehicle and abide by vehicle policies

  • Understanding of Importance of environmental and Safe Work Practices

  • Strong initiative and self-starter

  • Per Diem and Housing NOT eligible

Physical Demands

  • The company will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities

  • Utilize multi-limb coordination and flexibility combined with control precision to perform fine motor skills including: finger manipulation, grasping, feeling, arm-hand steadiness, in order to push, pull or lift objects

  • Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects 

  • Work involves climbing at heights at or above six feet

  • Utilizes multi-limb coordination to balance on even or uneven surfaces, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk, reach over shoulders or below the knees

  • Auditory attention and hearing sensitivity is required, as candidates must possess the ability to distinguish various sounds that serve as key maintenance indicators

  • Must employ the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety policies
